2021 12 30 • The Third Place
Just in time before the end of 2021 an article I wrote for Beirut Art Center’s The Derivative has been published. Titled The Third Place: In the Shadows of Anxiety and Recovery, it is a pensive research into the famed Middle Eastern music interval, the segāh, and issues of musical and extra-musical associations.
