2019 05 31 • Sarāb Festival
I’m very excited to announce my co-curation and participation in the first instalment of #Sarab2019, a gathering for experimental electronic music and performance taking place in the desert of Wadi Rum, on June 8th and 9th.
Both evenings will begin just before sunset with live music and choreography pieces by Stéphanie Janaina & Nicolás Jaar and by Yalda Younes & Khyam Allami. The program also features live performances by leading experimental musicians and performers in the region including Deena Abdelwahed, Khyam Allami, Brikks, Raymond Haddad, Aya Metwalli, Muqata’a, Sama’, Shireen Talhouni, Two Or The Dragon, and more.
Sarāb is organized by Interim Projects with Ayed Fadel and Khyam Allami in partnership with Malahi Entertainment, The Color Experiment, Nawa Recordings, Harara Records, and Jazar Crew.
